Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before starting your gentle guitar journey with us.

How much time should I practice as a beginner?

Aim for 15–25 minutes per day, five days a week. Short daily sessions build reliable muscle memory and keep learning calm and enjoyable without burnout.

Do I need a steel-string acoustic or a classical guitar?

Either works beautifully. Steel strings deliver a brighter tone; nylon classical strings feel softer on your fingertips. Choose the feel you prefer and we adapt the curriculum accordingly.

Will I learn full songs?

Yes. We build chord families and strumming patterns that quickly form complete, chorus-ready progressions. Most students play their first full song within three weeks.

What if my hands are small or I have wrist tension?

We use ergonomic shapes such as Cmaj7, Em7 and D6/9 along with hand-friendly routines. You learn to relax your shoulders, angle the neck properly, and breathe with the rhythm.

How are live workshops different from lesson packs?

Lesson packs are self-paced videos with structured practice plans you can follow on your own schedule. Workshops are live, small-group sessions that provide real-time feedback, accountability and encouragement.

Can I start without any music theory knowledge?

Absolutely. We teach primarily by sound and feel. Music theory appears gradually only as helpful labels once you can already play simple, beautiful progressions.

How do you prevent lessons from feeling overwhelming?

Every lesson contains only one clear goal and ends with a small win. Clear weekly plans remove all guesswork so you can simply show up and strum.

Do you offer refunds?

We provide a 14-day satisfaction window on all self-paced lesson packs. Live workshops may be rescheduled once at no extra charge. Full details are available in our Terms.

Is there a supportive community?

Every course includes gentle reflection prompts and optional sharing spaces that focus on encouragement, kindness and celebrating progress rather than competition.
